Join us for a leisurely walk on the Fay Luther Trail system. This hike is ideal for getting into shape for the summer hiking season and for fun interaction with fellow parishioners.
This hike will be at a slow and enjoyable pace and the distance you walk can be shortened to accommodate your ability. No one will be left behind. Sturdy trail shoes, a trail lunch, and an adequate supply of water are recommended. Cookies and brownies will be provided.
|Location||Meet at 9:30am at the church parking lot for carpooling or meet us at the trailhead* at 10:00am.
(*The Fay Luther trailhead is on Foothill road about two miles south of Kingsbury Grade.)
|Description||This hike is suitable for slower hikers, families, and for getting into shape for the summer hiking season. If you choose to hike both loops, the distance is 3.4 miles with an elevation gain of about 640 feet. (Refer to the topographical map and elevation profile provided below.)|
