Religious Education Events |
Religious Education Classes for April All classes are from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
| Family Mass and Funday Sunday Religious Education will host a Family Mass at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 28th, followed by Family activities in the Pastoral Community Center after the Mass. The contemporary choir will provide music at this liturgy. |
Please keep our Religious Education students, along with their parents and catechists, in your prayers. |
Opportunities for Spiritual Enrichment |
Eucharistic Adoration Adoration is available every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the church. ”Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest after the sacraments, the one dearest to God, the one most helpful to us.” |  |
Our Blessed Mother's Rosary Makers Our Blessed Mother’s Rosary Makers meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Faith/Genesis classroom. Their next meeting is on Wednesday, April 10th. |  |
Benedictine Oblates The Oblates meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month from September to May. The next meeting will be Tuesday, April 23rd, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. New comers are welcome. |  |
Centering Prayer Group The Centering Prayer Group meets on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Acts of the Apostles classroom. About the Centering Prayer Group There will also be an Introductory Centering Prayer Workshop on Saturday April 27th from 9:00 - 12:00 pm at Carmel of Reno, 1950 La Fond Drive, Reno, NV 89509. Fr. Sunny's Bible Study Fr. Sunny's Bible Study continues to meet on Monday evenings at 4 p.m. Please call the office (775-782-2852) to register for this class. Also notice that bible classes on April 15th and 22nd are cancelled while Fr. Sunny is vacationing. |  |

The Chosen Family Movie Night |
 | Religious Education is hosting a Family Movie Night on Fridays, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m starting on April 12th. These weekly events are a combination of movie night, fellowship, and Scripture-based faith sharing and include a screening of an episode from The Chosen. The Chosen is a multi-season television series about the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth and the different people who met, followed, and interacted with him. We will show an episode each Friday night from April 12th to May 24th. We will provide popcorn and drinks. We ask that you bring a cup for your drink. Use this form to sign up for our first screening on Friday, April 12th, at 6:30 p.m. We need to know how many chairs to set up and how much corn to pop. |
