Men's Study Group

The men of St. Gall are invited to a study group focusing on specific topics in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.  Our meetings are on Mondays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the library.

In our meeting this week, we will focus on the first sections of the teaching on the incarnation, paragraphs 456 to 459.  All men are welcome

Bi-lingual Mass with the Bishop

Bishop Mueggenborg willl be at St. Gall on Saturday, October 26th, to bless our renovated church building at a special Mass at 5:00 p.m.

This Mass will be bi-lingual. Also notice there will be no 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. Mass on October 26th.

Trunk or Treat

St. Gall Confirmation will be participating in providing a Trunk or Treat event in our parking lot on October 31 @ 5 pm. This is in collaboration with our neighbors, the Methodist Church and Shadow Mtn.  If you would like to help, to donate candy, small prizes, or a monetary donation, or even bring your own decorated vehicle to park for Trunk or Treat, we would be grateful.  If you have questions about Trunk or Treat please feel free to call 775-782-3784.  To register to bring a vehicle, please email dimelli@saintgall.org.

Christmas Boutique

The St. Gall Christmas Boutique will be on Saturday, November 2nd, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Pastoral Community Center.

Available items include Christmas decor, trees, ornaments, gifts, bake sale, silent auction, raffle and Santa.  Get your pet's picture taken with Santa!

Second Collections

Catholic University of America

A second collection will be taken at all weekend Masses on November 2nd and 3rd for the Catholic University of America.

Catholic Campaign for Human Development

A second collection will be taken at all weekend Masses on November 16th and 17th for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.

Annual Reno Diocesan Conference

You are invited to attend the Annual Diocesan Conference which is being held January 10 & 11, 2025 at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks. Registration is available on the diocese website, High Desert Catholic.

Schedule Changes This Week

  • Because Fr. Biju is on vacation, there will be no 5:15 p.m. daily Mass on Monday, Oct 21st, and Tuesday, Oct 22nd.
     
  • Bishop Mueggenborg will be visiting St. Gall to celebrate a special bilingual Mass at 5:00 p.m. this Saturday, Oct 26th.
    Please notice there will be no 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. Mass this Saturday.
     
  • We will have hospitatliy after all weekend Masses this coming weekend.
