- Encouragement: Affirm young men who have qualities of service and faith.
- Prayer: Pray for vocations; volunteer to take the vocations chalice (see below
- Positivity: Be positive about the Church and ministry
- Volunteer: Offer service to the church and wider community, and encourage the same in the youth.
