Announcements for June 6th and 7th

1. As our first announcement, Fr has an important message for us.
2. Vacation Bible School is coming! Bring your kids and join us June 29th to July 2nd. Registration forms are available in the gathering space or at the Religious Ed office. We are always looking for adult and teen volunteers. Please contact the Religious Ed office for more information.
3. St. Gall is hosting a seminar on advance funeral planning and end-of-life preparation on Saturday, June 20th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in Corona Hall. Learn how to plan ahead, ease the burden on loved ones, and get your questions answered. Representatives from funeral, estate planning, cemetery, and hospice services will be present, and Fr. Mark will share Church teaching on end-of-life care. Please call the church office to RSVP.
4. In honor of America’s 250th birthday, Our Blessed Mother’s Rosary Makers have made 250 red, white, and blue rosaries for St. Gall. They’re available in the gathering space—please take one and share it. Through July, we’ll also pray 250 rosaries for our Church, nation, parish, and those in need. You’re warmly invited to join us in prayer.
5. As of this past Friday, and every Friday going forward, we will recite the Rosary for the Unborn at 10:00 AM and the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 10:30 AM. All are invited to join us.
6. The Knights of Columbus invite you to a Bourbon Tasting Night on Thursday, June 25th , at 5:30 PM in Corona Hall. For more information, please contact Ron Sanchez or call the church office.
7. As of this Friday, as a parish we have surpassed our collective goal of 250 Works of Mercy. Let’s see how much further we can go.

1. Como primer anuncio, el diacono Alvaro tiene un mensaje importante para nosotros.
2. ¡La Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones llegará pronto! Traigan a sus hijos y acompáñenos del 29 de junio al 2 de julio. Los formularios de inscripción están disponibles en el espacio de reunión o en la oficina de Educación Religiosa. Siempre estamos buscando voluntarios adultos y adolescentes. Por favor, llamen a la oficina de Educación Religiosa para obtener más información.
3. En honor al 250º aniversario de América, Los Artesanos de rosarios de Nuestra Santísima Virgen Maria han hecho 250 rosarios rojos, blancos y azules para San Gall. Están disponibles en el espacio de reunión—por favor, cogen uno y compártalo. Durante julio, también rezaremos 250 rosarios por nuestra Iglesia, nación, parroquia y quienes lo necesiten. Los invitamos a unirse a nosotros en oración.
4. Desde este pasado viernes, y todos los viernes a partir de ahora, rezaremos el Rosario para los No Nacidos a las 10:00 AM y a la Divina Misericordia a las 10:30 AM. Todos están invitados a acompañarnos.

Announcements for May 30th and 31st
(To be read at the conclusion of mass, AFTER the post-communion prayer)
1. The First Friday of the Month Mass is this coming Friday, June 5 th , at 7:00am.
2. The Office for the Dead will be prayed for our deceased family and friends also this coming Friday, June 5 th , at 5am, 9am and 7pm during Liturgy of the Hours.
3. We are seeking volunteers to assist with our Ministry to the Sick and Homebound. If you feel called to serve in this important ministry, please call the church office.
4. There will be Altar Server Training and games this coming Thursday, June 4 th , at 5:30 PM in the church. This is a refresher and training for all current altar servers, and a welcome for anyone new.
5. Next weekend’s second collection supports the Catholic Communications Campaign. This campaign represents a mission of love to share the gospel message of hope with people in the United States using the internet, television, radio and print media. Half of the money we collect remains here in our Reno diocese to fund local communications efforts.
6. As of this Friday, as a parish we have completed 208 Works of Mercy. Let’s keep going.
7. Our annual St. Gall Rummage Sale is fast approaching, and volunteers are always needed. The Rummage Sale Leadership Team is hosting an informational meeting this Thursday, June 4 at 6:00 PM in the Faith Genesis Room. They will share the different areas where help is needed and answer any questions you may have. If you can volunteer in July or during the first weekend of August, please consider joining the team. And to our faithful volunteers who return year after year—welcome back. With your help, we look forward to another fabulous sale. We will begin setting up in the gym on Monday, July 6. We hope to see you there!
8. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Fr Mark as he celebrates the 19th anniversary of his priesthood this week. We thank him for his faithful service, dedication and ministry to our parish and the wider Church. Please keep Fr. Mark in your prayers as we honor this special milestone. Thank you.

1. La Misa del Primer Viernes del Mes es este viernes 5 de junio a las 7:00 AM.
2. Estamos buscando voluntarios para ayudar en nuestro Ministerio a los Enfermos y Confinados en Casa. Si siente la llamada a servir en este importante ministerio, por favor llame a la oficina de la iglesia.
3. Habrá entrenamiento y juegos para monaguillos este próximo jueves 4 de junio a las 5:30 PM en la iglesia. Esto es un repaso y entrenamiento para todos los monaguillos actuales, y una bienvenida para quienes son nuevos.
4. La segunda colecta del próximo fin de semana apoya la Campaña de Comunicaciones Católicas. Esta campaña representa una misión de amor para compartir el mensaje evangélico de esperanza con la gente en Estados Unidos a través de internet, televisión, radio y medios impresos. La mitad del dinero que recaudamos permanece aquí, en nuestra diócesis de Reno, para financiar los esfuerzos de comunicación local.
5. Hasta este viernes, hemos completado 208 Obras de Misericordia. Sigamos adelante.
6. Nuestra venta anual de San Gall se acerca rápidamente, y siempre se necesitan voluntarios. El equipo de liderazgo de la venta anual va a tener una junta informativa este jueves 4 de junio a las 6:00 PM en el salón Faith Genesis. 1. Please stop by our Gift Shop and see all the beautiful items available to celebrate Baptisms, First Communions, and Confirmations.
2. The office will be closed this Monday, May 25th , in honor of Memorial Day. The 5:15 PM Daily Mass on that day will still occur.
3. The Confirmation Mass will take place on Saturday, May 30th, at 1:30 PM, with Bishop Calvo presiding. All are welcome to attend.
4. First Holy Communions will be celebrated at both 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM Masses on Saturday, May 30th, and at the 10:00 AM Mass on Sunday, May 31st.
5. We are seeking volunteers to assist with our Ministry to the Sick and Homebound. If you feel called to serve in this important ministry, please call the church office.
6. Religious Ed is once again fundraising with Totally Catholic jewelry. Please stop by the gathering space and see what we have.

2. Parishioner Michael Heil passed away. Please keep his family in prayer.
3. Please keep our Diocesan priests in prayer as they attend their annual retreat this week. There will be no Daily Mass Monday, May 18 th through Friday, May 22 nd . Adoration on Tuesday will still occur and the office will remain open.
4. The office will be closed on Monday, May 25 th , in honor of Memorial Day. The 5:15 PM Daily Mass on that day will still occur.

Each weekend, we’ll share our progress as a parish family. As of this Friday, we have completed 139 Works of Mercy. Wonderful job, everyone—let’s keep it going! Thank you.
